|Appalachian Regional Coalition on Homelessness
The Appalachian Regional Coalition on Homelessness is the HUD recognized Continuum of Care for Northeast Tennessee. KHRA is a member of the Continuum and receives funding from HUD through annual Continuum of Care grant program. ARCH works to end homelessness as currently experienced in our region. Part of their role is to coordinate and empower the efforts of diverse charities, civic organizations and public institutions working to improve the homeless situation.
|East Tennessee Foundation
East Tennessee Foundation (ETF) is a public, nonprofit, community foundation created for the purpose of building charitable resources to make communities stronger and lives better through thoughtful giving and was established through a merger of Community Foundation of East Tennessee and Business Trust for the Arts. ETF serves as a vehicle for philanthropy by connecting donors with the causes they care about most. ETF is a collection of hundreds of individual charitable funds and supporting organizations established by individuals, families, businesses, and other nonprofits and foundations.
|Greater Kingsport Alliance for Development
The Greater Kingsport Alliance for Development (GKAD) is a non-profit organization, located in Kingsport, TN, created through the efforts of Kingsport Housing & Redevelopment Authority and private citizens. The purpose of the partnership is to provide a means for the public and private sector to cooperate in providing affordable housing to low-income families in Kingsport. GKAD has a long and productive history of helping improve the quality and affordability of housing in Kingsport in addition to a number of other initiatives aimed at supporting and serving low-income families and individuals.

As the Redevelopment Authority for Kingsport, KHRA works closely with the City on economic development, Tax Increment Financing and special initiatives. Kingsport is located at the intersection of I-81 and I-26 near the Tennessee-Virginia border in the geographic center of the Eastern U.S., 80 miles due north of Asheville, NC.

Eastern Eight is a nonprofit organization creating affordable housing solutions for the eight counties of Northeast Tennessee (Carter, Greene, Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi, and Washington). Their programs include homebuyer education, financial counseling, mortgage pre-approval, continuing homeowner education and foreclosure prevention and counseling. They also develop and rehabilitate homes and offer a select number of rental properties.

Safe, sound, affordable housing is essential to a healthy household, educational achievement, successful employment, and the stability and safety of the neighborhood. THDA has a broad portfolio of housing assistance programs and is vigorously developing a network of industry and municipal partners for their delivery. Customer Service is more than a watchword, it is a daily effort.

Mountain States Health Alliance (MSHA) is a locally owned and managed healthcare system based in Johnson City, Tennessee. Formed after Johnson City Medical Center Hospital, Inc. acquired six Columbia/HCA hospitals in Northeast Tennessee on September 1, 1998, it received its official name in January 1999. In addition to our hospitals, MSHA’s integrated healthcare delivery system includes 21 primary/preventive care centers and numerous outpatient care sites, including
First Assist Urgent Care, MedWorks, Same Day Surgery, and Rehab Plus.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Club is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from challenging circumstances, to realize their fullest potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Our organization currently operates five centers within the Kingsport community to reach youth from these challenging circumstances.
