Resident & Family Self Sufficiency Coordinator

KHRA is currently accepting applications for a Resident & Family Self Sufficiency Coordinator. This position involves strong organizational, interpersonal and decision making skills to provide administrative work involving the Public Housing program, Family Self Sufficiency program, and the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. Example job duties include: Monitoring the progress of program participants to ensure that all goals and objectives are met, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, serving as a liaison between the Housing Authority and community partners. Graduation from an accredited two-year college or university with an A.A Degree in public or business administration, social services or related field or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Housing Technician

The Kingsport Housing & Redevelopment Authority (KHRA) is seeking a Housing Technician to perform a variety of technical and clerical activities in support of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program. This position assists with the day to day operations of the HCV program including the intake, applicant screening, determining eligibility, maintaining wait list and preparing and maintaining required documentation and reports. Graduation from an accredited two-year college or university with an A.A Degree in public or business administration, social services or related field; strong organizational, interpersonal and decision making skills; or any equivalent combination of education or experience of critical knowledge, abilities and skills.
